VIP Business of the Week: Daniela’s Cioccalato in Forest Lake

Mmmm, chocolate.  Hand-made chocolate even… heavenly.

Daniela’s Cioccalato in Forest Lake is a phenomenal find in Forest Lake, and this shop is not just one of a kind, but it is also, sincerely One of the Best Kind.

This quaint, cozy store has a wealth of treasures inside.  From fresh Gelato to hand-made chocolates and unique gift baskets, Daniela’s is a small store that packs a big punch.

Daniella, herself, is warm and friendly.  Her mother taught her how to cook the Italian way.  During our interview, her love for her products and her store were obvious.  She is a woman who makes a killer fresh lemonade, as well as both makes and brings in quality hand-made products.  She serves her food with a smile, and even volunteers with her community.  What more could you want in a small local business?

While there, I sampled the peanut butter chocolate and the hand-made wafer that she puts in each one. I also  tried one of her salted dark chocolates, and a double chocolate truffle.  It was an extremely decadent little snack, and absolutely heavenly.

It’s always nice to support small businesses, but it’s even nice to support small businesses with wonderful people.  Take a look at Daniela’s website (http://www.danielaschocolates.com/), and then, you really should take the time to stop on by.

Video from Daniela’s. (Editors Note: Forgive the shakiness and flaws of the video – it’s my first.)
