VIP of the Week: Jane Ehlers, Fairview Hospice HHA

The VIP of the week this week is an amazing lady named Jane Ehlers who is a Home Health Aide. It takes great strength, courage and compassion to work at a hospice, and this lady has all of that and something extra – a true love and joy for her patients and in caring for them.
Jane works for the Fairview Lakes Home Caring and Hospice, and was recommended by her supervisors because of her large, caring heart and the professional job she does.
It was an honor to meet Mrs. Ehlers, and the wisdom she imparts in this interview is just a small sample of the wisdom that she carries within.
Sometimes, albeit rarely, you meet people who are like angels in this world, and if there ever was one, you’d have to believe it’d be someone working at a hospice – someone a lot like Jane.
Please take a look at this video of our interview. I actually teared up in the interview – as Jane says, “Caring for others is a joy, and its own reward.” And the greatest thing about this interview, is that it’s easy to tell she really means it.

I was one of Jane Ehlers patients. I was blessed to have her as my Home Health Aide! Jane is as loving, sweet and caring as she appears on this video!
