007 is back!  The game so many of us spent hours and hours playing with friends, in the same room on the same TV has returned.  James Bond 007: GoldenEye is the classic we all know and its been updated.  From what I understand its the original story line from the GoldenEye movie and the GoldenEye game with new game play and better graphics, while still keeping the 007 feel we know and love.  What they have done is mixed some of the old with some of the new.  8 classic characters will be back.  There are 40 unique characters to play as in the multiplayer, with 16 game modes.

What I understand is that the game will use the Nintendo-Wii Classic Controller, so none of the motion stuff.  I’m happy to hear that because some of the Wii games can be pain with the remote and the nunchuk.

Single Player Game:  GoldenEye movie story line, updated with Bruce Feirstein, the screenwriter for the original movie.. .  This updated story line features Daniel Craig as James Bond.  Relive all the classic GoldenEye movie moments in the game.

Mulitplayer game: Split screen returns. There can be four players in the same room playing at the same time on the same screen. New characters, weapons and game modes make over 200 split screen game combinations .

James Bond 007: GoldenEye Classic Edition

With collectible gold controller

There will also be a James Bond 007: GoldenEye classic release that comes with a Gold Classic Controller Pro. Inspired by the legendary golden gun, which also comes with an extra control scheme.

Would I recommend James Bond 007: GoldenEye? Yes. From what I’ve gathered Nintendo is bringing back the best 2-4 multiplayer shooter game I’ve ever played. There is nothing better then getting two or three friends together that can all play the same game at the same time on the same system. There has been nothing like it since the original.
