It is always so satisfying to find an excellent place for fine dining in one’s own hometown area. The other evening my friend Don and I enjoyed our second visit to Meredee’s Bistro in as many weeks. Most of the tables were occupied with satisfied diners when we arrived but after being greeted at the door by a gracious hostess, we were seated at a cozy table in a somewhat European room.
The fire place was lit, and the beautiful Christmas tree that stood in the dining area provided a festive atmosphere. The many tiny white lights on the tree reminded me of stars twinkling in the evening sky. Unfortunately, I did not have my camera with me to capture that pretty Christmas tree. From now on, the camera has to follow me so I can totally share sights with you, the reader.
The menu selection featured many choices and we choose to share the Mediterranean pasta which has the most delicious seasoning, olives, spinach and other colorful ingredients in it. We also had some of their exceptional salad bar, with a multitude of choices. If one is not real hungry, the salad bar alone with some delicious bread and a beverage would be an excellent light me up.
